Good blog Jan, but I really don't like Kostka with Hunwick. I see no reason to why not bring up Allen or McIlrath. I highly doubt they would perform any worse than (frank)ing Kostka...

Hunwick is what he is. He showed it on Monday. The good and the bad. The good. The stretch pass on the Duclair goal was a thing of beauty. Also he's got the shot through that led to the Nash goal. I wish Staal and Girardi hit the the net more. The bad, the first goal. He pinched which led to the 3 on 2, and then he didn't cover Prosser in front. So you get what you get with Hunwick.

I wonder if Habs fans have a new Public enemy number 1?

#Canucks Burrows will face #NHL supplemental discipline regarding his hit on #Canadiens Emelin. Phone hearing expected to happen today.

Nah, who am I kidding.

meh Kreider's a side note on a decent playoff run. Lucic or Chara have no rivals.

that's because deep down you guys know it wasn't Kreider's fault and he was slashed causing him to lose his balance and crash into Price.

Chris Mueller cant be our 3rd line Center. At some point in the year Miller or Hayes has to step up and grab that position.

Emelin did not trip Kreider. There is no man alive capable of doing such a task. GOD himself was responsible for striking down Kreider and Price was the collateral damage. To say otherwise would be to go against GOD.

I agree, I think miller would play well with hags/duclair

What is his deal? I know he was traded to Carolina but is he worth taking a flyer on? I thought we already had 50 contracts

Lombardi is dumb, if he would have just toughed it out and went to the AHL for a couple of weeks he probably would be on the Rangers right now.

I don't think lombardi or Mueller should be are 3c. Either Hayes or miller need to take that spot. I think a 3rd line of hags-hayes/miller-duclair could be very productive. Lombardi leaving was good for us IMO.

I see a trend that AV only likes 1 rookie in the lineup each night. If duclair plays, hayes doesnt..and vice versa.

I think he had off season shoulder surgery so no teams were calling, he had some upside
